I’m Tony Sealy, originally from Sydney, Australia, and based in Singapore. I make films for business that are creatively unique and make complex technical processes easy to understand. My films are delivered on time and budget to meet your business goals and give you a high return on investment.

Production Experience
I’ve been in the business all of my adult life with senior-level experience as editor, compositor, post-production manager, executive producer and creative director. In each of those roles, I’ve developed the discipline, experience and skills to deliver a film that sticks to schedule and budget.

For the last 12 years, I’ve been the Creative Director at Intense Animation Studio where I’ve written and directed every project for clients like Schlumberger, Robert Bosch, Aker Solutions, Franklin Offshore International, Starhub and Mitsubishi. Before that, I was a digital compositor and editor responsible for commercials, documentaries, sports and animation with ABC TV, Australia’s largest broadcasting network, and Video Headquarters, South-East Asia’s largest post-production company. I’m proficient using non-linear applications, including Smoke, Flame, Nuke, AVID and Final Cut.

Creative Direction
While I enjoy keeping up with the technical side, my main interest lies in the narrative aspects of my work. As a creative director, I take responsibility for the complete process from client liaison and conceptualization to creative and technical execution, either working solo or leading a team. I’ve covered the whole spectrum of creative projects from corporate films and documentaries to TV commercials, TV programming, websites and interactive applications.

My production experience gives me a unique creative perspective. I have a deep understanding and respect for the project’s creative goals, but, at the same time, I have the production knowledge to take on tough creative and technical challenges with confidence. As a result, I’ve had an exceptional record of achievement, with recognition including a New York Festivals Finalist, Malaysia Effie Awards Finalist and Promax Gold winner.

Storytelling is the most important skill for a filmmaker and it’s a role I take very seriously. My responsibility is to ensure you make money from your investment in the film. To achieve that, I craft the messages in the film to communicate with different audiences of technical, non-technical and any other stakeholders at their level of understanding.

That means researching the product, the company, the competitors and the audience, writing and researching again before finalizing the script. When the film is over, I want the audience to discuss and think about the content and how it applies to their environment. If they are watching a sales film, I want the decision-makers to buy. If it’s a documentary, I want the audience to debate the subject and relate it to their own lives. It’s the response and the results that really matter in filmmaking.
